"Indian Curry Evening" back by popular demand!
The Good Shepherd Church, Nottingham hosted their "Indian Curry Night" (back by popular demand) in the parish centre with a maximum capacity turn out. With the Kerala Community stewarding the supply of delicious food, accompanied by traditional Indian dance, with a spontaneous performances of a jive and irish dance to the delight of the audience. Assistant parish priest, Fr Biju surprised all with a solo performance of song to cheer of the audience. Henna painting of hands and raffle tickets were on sale which helped boost the fundraising effort. Good food, good entertainment and good company resulted in a very successful evening raising much needed funds for the Grade II* listed church costly restorations. Thank you all for supporting this event and a big thank you to the hard working members of the Social Committee who saw to the smooth running of this event. God bless.
