Lenten Reflection

on Wednesday at 8.00 pm led this week by Caroline Zdziarska.

Parish Social

Friday 19th March to mark the feast of St. Patrick. Members of Comhaltas Ceolteori will provide the music. There will be Set Dancing and pupils of the Good Shepherd school will do some Irish dancing and of course you can "take the floor" or simply enjoy food, drink and a chat in the company of friends.

Richard Beaven, Jim Murphy, Tom Cook, Martin Fitzpatrick RIP

Please pray for the repose of the souls of Richard Beaven, Jim Murphy, Tom Cook and Martin Fitzpatrick who have died recently and for their families and friends who grieve for them.

Baptism Preparation

for children aged 4+, the first session meets on Sunday 7th March at 2.30 pm. Please contact Clare Byrne. Next meeting for parents with babies, Sun. May 16th.

Hospital Chaplaincy

Sr. Aine, a Nazareth House sister, is appointed Catholic chaplain at QMC and City Hospital. She will be available to visit the wards and liaise with the on-call priests. We wish her success in her new ministry. If you are admitted to hospital please inform the chaplaincy at the hospital who will arrange visits. If you are admitted to the City Hospital and wish to receive holy communion, please phone the presbytery

Anointing of the Sick

will be held on Sunday 25th April at 3.00 pm followed by tea in the Parish Centre. It is hoped that the young people preparing for confirmation will help with this tea as part of their service to the parish. Please put this date in your diaries.

Service of Reconciliation

at Good Shepherd, Wed. 24th March at 7.30 pm with a number of priests available for confession. This is an important way of preparing for Easter both individually and as a community.

Friendship Club

meets on Thursday 11th March at 2.00 p.m. in the Parish Centre. We welcome back Bob Hudson and his daughter Jo to entertain us with some of your favourite jazz music.

The Lourdes Pilgrimage

Fr. Greg Tobin invites parishioners to join this year's pilgrimage which will be from Monday 19th to Saturday 24th July. Please pick up an information leaflet.

Readers Meeting

A meeting for any readers in church or those interested, to reflect and discuss as well as plan for the Easter Triduum. Thurs. 11th March 8.00 pm.
