Christmas Eve Children Liturgy
The annual Christmas Eve Children's Nativity is always a popular event as our children prepare for Christmas, but this year's event drew one of the highest attendances we have ever seen.

The Children come dressed up in a nativity costume of their choice. This year we had Angels, Kings, Shepherds, Stars, Donkeys along with Mary and Joseph. The Children re-enact the nativity story, bringing the true meaning of Christmas alive. The story was beautifully narrated by some of the Children, and was then truly enhanced by outstanding music from a group of our young people, some of whom had returned from University for the Christmas season.

After the Nativity story, the Children then decorated our Parish Christmas Tree in the Church, including decorations made by our First Holy Communion Children's Group.

To complete a very enjoyable morning, we all then gathered in the Parish Centre for tea, coffee and mince pies, with kind donations going to Emmanuel House for the homeless.
