Easter Delight!
Little Lambs spring into action to help local Foodbank

Little Lambs, the baby and toddler group which runs each Monday at The Good Shepherd Parish centre in Woodthorpe, has donated more than 100 Easter eggs to its local Arnold Foodbank, thanks to the generosity of parents and parishioners.

Katie Wilson, helper at Little Lambs at parishioner, came up with the idea to help children who may not be so fortunate to receive a chocolate treat this Easter.

Little Lambs, which attracts more than 100 local parents, babies and toddlers each week, promoted the idea to parents who attend the group, its parish community and across its social media network and was overwhelmed by the number of Easter eggs they received.

The Easter eggs were delivered to the Arnold Foodbank On Monday 1st April so that they could start to distribute them to children before Easter. Alan from the Foodbank was delighted with the generous donation.

As a result of such a successful response, Little Lambs has agreed to carry out the Easter egg collection on an annual basis for Arnold Foodbank.

Thank you to Little Lambs, our parish community and especially to Katie Wilson for coming up with such a great idea!
