Bereavement Group
Aim of Ministry:
To help support or aid those suffering from bereavement.
Description of Ministry:
The
Bereavement Befriending Group at present consists of four parishioners
who have experienced bereavement in their own lives. We meet to talk
face to face with those suffering, seeking help, consolation and
support from the group.
What is required of members:
Members
must have a compassionate and understanding manner. They must have the
ability to treat the bereaved with understanding, treat them as
individuals, and be able to provide willingly whatever help or advice
they can in a caring and confidential manner.
How often do meetings take place?
Monthly, the first Wednesday of each month from 2.30pm-4pm.
Where do the meetings take place?
In the Parish Hall of the Church of the Good Shepherd.
